OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Social Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950.
2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall make an application in Form 5 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land in excess of the ceiling is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
