STANDING ORDER

To

All Survey Commissioners,

Subject: The administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 (Andhra Pradesh Act 35 of 2001), the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall make an application in Form A to the Endowments Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Survey Commissioner shall ensure that certificate of registration is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Endowments Tribunal within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
