OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The supply of mid-day meals by contractors for the mid-day meal under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the supply of mid-day meals by contractors for the mid-day meal is to be regulated under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for the mid-day meal carrying on the supply of mid-day meals shall make an application in Form G to the Government of Gujarat within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the supply of mid-day meals is undertaken, and the Government of Gujarat shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Gujarat.
