STANDING ORDER

To

All Child Development Project Officers,

Subject: The employment of adolescents by employers of adolescents under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988), the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the employment of adolescents by employers of adolescents.

2. The matter has been examined. Every employer of adolescents carrying on the employment of adolescents shall make an application in Form II to the Local Complaints Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Child Development Project Officer shall ensure that admission register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Local Complaints Committee within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
