STANDING ORDER

To

All Compliance Officers,

Subject: The organisation of sport by sports bodies under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Water Resources Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the organisation of sport by sports bodies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports body carrying on the organisation of sport shall make an application in Form H to the Disciplinary Panel within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. The Compliance Officer shall ensure that calendar of events is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Disciplinary Panel within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Telangana.
