STANDING ORDER

To

All Surveyors,

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Information Technology Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 3 to the Board of Revenue within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Surveyor shall ensure that khasra is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Revenue within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Rajasthan.
