OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The export of goods as a trading house by trading houses under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the export of goods as a trading house by trading houses is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005.

2. The matter has been examined. Every trading house carrying on the export of goods as a trading house shall make an application in Form ANF-5A to the Director General within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the export of goods as a trading house is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
