STANDING ORDER

To

All Chief Vigilance Officers,

Subject: The receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority under the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012 (Karnataka Act 1 of 2012), the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private body funded by a public authority carrying on the receipt of public funds shall make an application in Form F to the Lokpal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Chief Vigilance Officer shall ensure that appeal is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Lokpal within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
