STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Transport Commissioners,

Subject: The aggregation of transport services by aggregators under the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1974 (Tamil Nadu Act 13 of 1974), the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the aggregation of transport services by aggregators.

2. The matter has been examined. Every aggregator carrying on the aggregation of transport services shall make an application in Form 30 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Transport Commissioner shall ensure that register of vehicles is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
