STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The execution of relief works by contractors for relief works under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the execution of relief works by contractors for relief works.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for relief works carrying on the execution of relief works shall make an application in Form F to the Director of Fire Services within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that register of shelters is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Fire Services within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
