STANDING ORDER
To
All Examination Controllers,
Subject: The supply of mid-day meals by contractors for the mid-day meal under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the supply of mid-day meals by contractors for the mid-day meal.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for the mid-day meal carrying on the supply of mid-day meals shall make an application in Form B to the Commission within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. The Examination Controller shall ensure that institution is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commission within twenty-one days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat.
