OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority under the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Ports Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority is to be regulated under the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private body funded by a public authority carrying on the receipt of public funds shall make an application in Form A to the Central Vigilance Commission within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of public funds is undertaken, and the Central Vigilance Commission shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Karnataka.
