OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Dealing in military stores by dealers in military stores under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which dealing in military stores by dealers in military stores is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in military stores carrying on dealing in military stores shall make an application in Form F to the Commanding Officer of the Unit within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in military stores is undertaken, and the Commanding Officer of the Unit shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
