OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The taking of a mortgage of agricultural land by mortgagees of agricultural land under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land by mortgagees of agricultural land is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950.

2. The matter has been examined. Every mortgagee of agricultural land carrying on the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Land Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the taking of a mortgage of agricultural land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
