OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The receipt of substantial financing from the Government by non-governmentals organisation substantially financed by the Government under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the receipt of substantial financing from the Government by non-governmentals organisation substantially financed by the Government is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975.

2. The matter has been examined. Every non-governmental organisation substantially financed by the Government carrying on the receipt of substantial financing from the Government shall make an application in Form A to the Competent Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of substantial financing from the Government is undertaken, and the Competent Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
