STANDING ORDER
To
All Waqf Officers,
Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952 (Odisha Act 2 of 1952), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair.
2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form G to the Waqf Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. The Waqf Officer shall ensure that budget is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Waqf Tribunal within thirty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha.
