OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The administration of vaccines by operators of a vaccination centre under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the administration of vaccines by operators of a vaccination centre is to be regulated under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vaccination centre carrying on the administration of vaccines shall make an application in Form 19 to the District Registering Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of vaccines is undertaken, and the District Registering Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka.
