STANDING ORDER
To
All Village Accountants,
Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Labour Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of land by landholders.
2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Tahsildar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that holding is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within thirty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
