OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The removal of earth from Government land by persons removing earth from Government land under the Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1974, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh on the manner in which the removal of earth from Government land by persons removing earth from Government land is to be regulated under the Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1974.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person removing earth from Government land carrying on the removal of earth from Government land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Collector within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the removal of earth from Government land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh.
