STANDING ORDER

To

All Anganwadi Supervisors,

Subject: The running of a creche by creches under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988), the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a creche by creches.

2. The matter has been examined. Every creche carrying on the running of a creche shall make an application in Form V to the District Magistrate within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Anganwadi Supervisor shall ensure that order is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Magistrate within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
