OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a hospital carrying on the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies shall make an application in Form G to the National Executive Committee within one day, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies is undertaken, and the National Executive Committee shall dispose of it within one day of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
