STANDING ORDER

All Adjudicating Officers,

Subject: The certification of construction by architect certifying a projects under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972 (Uttar Pradesh Act 13 of 1972), the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the certification of construction by architect certifying a projects.

2. The matter has been examined. Every architect certifying a project carrying on the certification of construction shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Adjudicating Officer shall ensure that apartment is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
