STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Tahsildars,

Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the occupation of land by occupants.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 14 to the State Government within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Deputy Tahsildar shall ensure that survey number is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Government within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Rajasthan.
