OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The listing of securities by listed companies under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors Act, 1997, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the listing of securities by listed companies is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors Act, 1997.

2. The matter has been examined. Every listed company carrying on the listing of securities shall make an application in Form D to the Board within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the listing of securities is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
