OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Service in the Force by enrolled persons under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which service in the Force by enrolled persons is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every enrolled person carrying on service in the Force shall make an application in Form A to the Director-General within three days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which service in the Force is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within three days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
