OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a hospital carrying on the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies shall make an application in Form H to the Relief Commissioner within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies is undertaken, and the Relief Commissioner shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
