OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a society by societies under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a society by societies is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983.

2. The matter has been examined. Every society carrying on the running of a society shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a society is undertaken, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
