OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the holding of land by landholders is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the State Government within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
