OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The processing of personal data by data fiduciaries under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Act, 2022, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the processing of personal data by data fiduciaries is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Act, 2022.

2. The matter has been examined. Every data fiduciary carrying on the processing of personal data shall make an application in Form A to the Board within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the processing of personal data is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
