OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of West Bengal on the manner in which the cultivation of land as tenant by tenants is to be regulated under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955.
2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 12 to the State Government within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of West Bengal.
