Chennai, dated the 8th October, 2025

RESOLUTION

Subject: The running of licensed premises by licensees under the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Greater Chennai Corporation, after careful examination, hereby resolves that every licensee carrying on the running of licensed premises shall furnish Form B to the Corporation within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the running of licensed premises shall make an application in Form B to the Corporation within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of licensed premises is undertaken, and the Corporation shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this resolution may be brought to the notice of the Greater Chennai Corporation.
