OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The development of a Special Economic Zone by developers under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the development of a Special Economic Zone by developers is to be regulated under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall make an application in Form ANF-3A to the Director General within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of a Special Economic Zone is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
