OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005.
2. The matter has been examined. Every supplier of relief materials carrying on the storage of relief materials shall make an application in Form B to the National Authority within twenty-four hours, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of relief materials is undertaken, and the National Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-four hours of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
