OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The use of water by users of water under the Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the use of water by users of water is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002.

2. The matter has been examined. Every user of water carrying on the use of water shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of water is undertaken, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
