STANDING ORDER
To
All adjudicating authorities,
Subject: The export of goods by exporters under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002 (Karnataka Act 45 of 2002), the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the export of goods by exporters.
2. The matter has been examined. Every exporter carrying on the export of goods shall make an application in Form SEZ-1 to the Government of Karnataka within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. The adjudicating authority shall ensure that importer-exporter code is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Karnataka within sixty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
