OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The entry into a defence installation by persons employed in a defence installation under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the entry into a defence installation by persons employed in a defence installation is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person employed in a defence installation carrying on the entry into a defence installation shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the entry into a defence installation is undertaken, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
