New Delhi, dated the 27th May, 2021

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme under the Delhi Jal Board Act, 1998, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Ports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme is to be regulated under the Delhi Jal Board Act, 1998.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall make an application in Form B to the Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a water supply scheme is undertaken, and the Tribunal shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
