OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority under the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority is to be regulated under the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private body funded by a public authority carrying on the receipt of public funds shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Karnataka within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of public funds is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
