STANDING ORDER

To

All Directors,

Subject: The support of athletes by athlete support personnels under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976 (Goa Act 14 of 1976), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Goa hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the support of athletes by athlete support personnels.

2. The matter has been examined. Every athlete support personnel carrying on the support of athletes shall make an application in Form A to the Agency within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Director shall ensure that federation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Agency within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Goa.
