STANDING ORDER

To

All Rent Controllers,

Subject: The business of a real estate agent by real estate agents under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972 (Uttar Pradesh Act 13 of 1972), the Water Resources Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the business of a real estate agent by real estate agents.

2. The matter has been examined. Every real estate agent carrying on the business of a real estate agent shall make an application in Form C to the Appellate Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Rent Controller shall ensure that apartment is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Appellate Tribunal within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
