OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The business of a real estate agent by real estate agents under the Karnataka Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the business of a real estate agent by real estate agents is to be regulated under the Karnataka Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1973.

2. The matter has been examined. Every real estate agent carrying on the business of a real estate agent shall make an application in Form A to the Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a real estate agent is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
