OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Participation in procurement by bidders under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which participation in procurement by bidders is to be regulated under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bidder carrying on participation in procurement shall make an application in Form GFR 12-A to the Government of Karnataka within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which participation in procurement is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Karnataka.
