STANDING ORDER

To

All Press Registrars,

Subject: The publication of a periodical by publishers under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the publication of a periodical by publishers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every publisher carrying on the publication of a periodical shall make an application in Form I to the Board of Film Certification within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Press Registrar shall ensure that programme is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Film Certification within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
