STANDING ORDER

To

All Drawing and Disbursing Officers,

Subject: The drawing and disbursement of funds by Drawing and Disbursing Officers under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the drawing and disbursement of funds by Drawing and Disbursing Officers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every Drawing and Disbursing Officer carrying on the drawing and disbursement of funds shall make an application in Form GFR 19 to the Controller General of Accounts within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Drawing and Disbursing Officer shall ensure that expenditure is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Controller General of Accounts within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat.
