STANDING ORDER

To

All Directors,

Subject: The governance of a sport by national sports federations under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Environment Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the governance of a sport by national sports federations.

2. The matter has been examined. Every national sports federation carrying on the governance of a sport shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Telangana within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Director shall ensure that athlete is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Telangana within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Telangana.
