OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The development of a Special Economic Zone by developers under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the development of a Special Economic Zone by developers is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall make an application in Form ANF-3A to the Director General within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of a Special Economic Zone is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
