OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The translation of documents for the court by translators empanelled by the court under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the translation of documents for the court by translators empanelled by the court is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every translator empanelled by the court carrying on the translation of documents for the court shall make an application in Form C to the High Court within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the translation of documents for the court is undertaken, and the High Court shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
