STANDING ORDER

All Drawing and Disbursing Officers,

Subject: The drawing and disbursement of funds by Drawing and Disbursing Officers under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the drawing and disbursement of funds by Drawing and Disbursing Officers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every Drawing and Disbursing Officer carrying on the drawing and disbursement of funds shall make an application in Form GFR 19 to the Government of Gujarat within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Drawing and Disbursing Officer shall ensure that grant is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Gujarat within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat.
