STANDING ORDER

All Registrars,

Subject: The running of a coaching centre by coaching centres under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a coaching centre by coaching centres.

2. The matter has been examined. Every coaching centre carrying on the running of a coaching centre shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Gujarat within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. The Registrar shall ensure that recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Gujarat within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Gujarat.
