OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a society by societies under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Ports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a society by societies is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987.

2. The matter has been examined. Every society carrying on the running of a society shall make an application in Form B to the Board within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a society is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
